MEXT Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Innovative Areas ‘Principles of pluripotent stem cells underlying plant vitality’ (FY2017-2021), in which Prof. Masaaki Umeda (Laboratory of Plant Growth Regulation) works as the project leader, has received A+ rating in the mid-term evaluation. His leadership and the fusion of plant and animal fields were highly evaluated.
