"Student Recruitment Symposium" was held online on February 19, 2021.
Division of Biological Science organized an online student recruitment symposium on February 19, 2021.
63 students from across the country participated in the event.
Following an opening presentation by Prof. Nakajima about education and research in our division, four NAIST students delivered presentations about their research and life at NAIST. After the students’ talks, the participants had an opportunity to interact with NAIST students or professors in small groups in breakout rooms. There were various questions regarding life as a graduate student, research projects and career plans, and the NAIST students and professors addressed them as much as they could.
Prof. Endo, Prof. Kawai and Prof. Inagaki presented their latest research work to showcase some of the cutting-edge research being done in the division. At the end of the symposium, Prof. Kurisaki explained how the entrance examination will be conducted.
